I used to work with Jenn at the Chamber of Commerce- she’s fabulously smart and when she asked me to be her wedding photographer I was flattered, as she dabbles in photography herself and has a great eye. Looking forward to her August wedding – in the meantime here are some quickies from our engagement shoot together under their Christmas tree.
About Heather
Heather's journey into photography began at the age of eight, looking at slides of India that her grandfather had taken as a photographer overseas. Her father, Bob, is also a pro photographer and was Heather's first and greatest teacher.
Heather attended the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design and received a BFA in Film & Media in 2006. Her passion and curiosity about photography overcame her interest in film, and a hobby was nurtured and developed into a profession.
Best known for her spectacular landscape work, Heather's beautiful scenics of the east coast have brought her high praise. Many living rooms and offices proudly display Heather's landscapes, and she is passionate about creating new landscapes from all over the globe.
Heather is also kept busy and is highly sought-after as a wedding photographer. Nova Scotia's wedding season is brief but beautiful, and she loves spending time with couples on the best day of their lives. In October 2011, Heather traveled to Atlanta to study with Denis Regie and Joe Buissink, two of America's greatest modern wedding photographers.
Photography is Heather's full time job and passion, and it shows in her work. During the brief and fleeting moments that she isn't obsessing about photography, Heather loves to write, do yoga, play with her pets, travel and read as many good books as possible!
