I photograph a fair amount of family reunion type events- where a group of relatives gets together after a long absense, and they want a photographer around to capture the moments that happen. It’s one of my favorite photography events because it’s pretty relaxed, there’s usually some good grub involved, and I get to know an entire family in one day.
The Ogilvies are particularly special because they’ve taken my own family under their wing- there’s a zillion connections between us and I’m enjoying getting to know them more each time.
